Do you play music at your office?
We always ask that question to our clients. Music often plays an important role in the company, and I’m not just talking about a recording studio. Just keep looking and you’ll find hardware in workplaces where you wouldn’t expect them. Are they there for display or do they mean something else to the inhabitants?
How does music affect your work? Some companies would say ‘in a very, very bad way’, headphones are as far as they’d go. Others find it stimulating and even encourage people to hook their playlist up to the speakers.
Taking a break to play a few chords on the piano can be an inspiring experience. Playing music of your own is a way to unleash your creativity. Whether it’s an acoustic guitar or a digital turntable, musical equipment can be very useful at any office.
